These terms govern your use of Day Zero, a daily safety intelligence service operated by Day Zero Energy Limited (RC pending), an Identis Ltd company (“Day Zero,” “we,” “us”). By subscribing to or using the service, you agree to these terms.
What Day Zero provides
Day Zero delivers daily safety briefs and, where offered, incident analysis drawn from a record of real oil and gas safety incidents. Each brief sets out an incident, its probable causes, a lesson, and a suggested action, reviewed by our HSE team before publication. The service is provided for awareness, training, and discussion within your organisation.
No warranty
We work to keep briefs accurate and useful, but we provide the service “as is.” We do not warrant that any brief or analysis is complete, error-free, current, or fit for a particular operation or decision. Safety outcomes depend on factors specific to your site that are outside our knowledge and control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Day Zero is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or cost arising from your use of, or reliance on, the briefs or analyses, including operational decisions made in connection with them. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual property
All briefs, analyses, content, branding, and materials provided through the service are the property of Day Zero Energy Limited and Identis Ltd. You may share briefs internally within your organisation for safety and training purposes. You may not resell, republish, or distribute them externally without our written permission.
Pilots and subscriptions
We may offer a pilot at no cost for a limited period and to a limited number of operations. A pilot creates no obligation to continue on either side. Paid subscription terms, including scope, pricing, and duration, are set out in a separate written agreement between you and Day Zero, which prevails over these terms where they differ.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use the service lawfully, to keep any access credentials secure, and to ensure that those who read the briefs understand they are advisory. You will not misrepresent Day Zero briefs as your own formal risk assessments or as a substitute for them.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
